When is the last time you heard that excuse, or maybe this one "but I can't get a confirmed appointment." Well some times it pays to get off your ass and go to where the customer is and walk in and make it happen. If you always wait for the seal of approval, you could be waiting a VERY long time. Showing up changes the energy of the relationship. It is a higher pressure situation, but make no mistake it is a positive step to take control of the sales process. Few are so busy that they can't see you for weeks on end. It is hard to believe how long it has taken to get to this DAY. Worse than waiting for any Christmas, almost felt like I was Waiting for Godot. With lots of hard work and help from many, it is here and the time is now.
Let's start with the most basic. You must sell in business or you will not have a business. This seems like it should be an unspoken truth, yet every single day, I talk to clients who wonder how this idea or that will fare. The real question is, do you have something that will motivate someone to get off their ass and take action and part with their money? And do it before you go broke or get fired or both?
